CAIRO—Baalbaki Chemical Industries, a middle-eastern polyurethane formulations company, said it has opened its second polyurethane adhesives plant in Cairo. The new plant is designed to serve customers in North and East Africa.

Baalbaki Chemical Industries set up as a polyurethane systems house in the 6th October Industrial City, Egypt in 2008.

Baalbaki said it is building a new polyurethane adhesives plant in Sharjah, United Arab Emigrates, and it is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2013.
